Passing of Abortion in New York

On January 22, 2019, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo signed a bill giving women the right to abort a baby at any time. But what is the point of the law? Is it to push women empowerment or as one planned parenthood executive said because selling baby body parts is becoming big business?

The law passed in the Senate 38-24 and in the assembly 92-47. The Reproductive Health Act is going to replace the Roe v Wade act which allowed abortion.

During the speech, Hillary Clinton gave to introduce the act she said “Together New York can build on the progress that has been made in reducing rates of unintended in teen pregnancy and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to choose a method of birth control based on what’s best for them, not what’s just least expensive. We can protect and expand access to safe and legal abortions for all New Yorkers because having a right on paper doesn’t mean much unless you can exercise it in practice.”

But why spend money on trying to get an abortion when you could use the money to keep the baby alive. Plus where are you going to get the money you say you are going to use to fund these abortions because if I were a taxpayer I most certainly rather have my money go to saving babies rather than killing them.

Anyway, how could a person with any sense of right or wrong be able to kill a baby who could have done great things for us? God puts each and every one of us on this earth for one reason or another. If you kill a baby you could be also be killing a chance to cure cancer or a way to reduce pollution. That is not the real reason abortion is bad. Abortion is the killing of innocent babies for no reason. In my opinion, killing a baby is worse than murdering a person because the baby has done nothing to harm you in any way.

We need to take a stand against the people who are trying to abort babies, we need to tell them we are all Americans and all Americans need to be treated equally like our founding fathers intended.
